We’re delighted to announce that commissioning editor Kate Smith has acquired World All Language rights in e-book, paperback and audio for two WW2 novels by debut author Lindsay Marie Morris.
Inspired by a true story, the first novel follows the story of 17-year-old Concetta who moves from Sicily to Wisconsin, leaving behind her secret boyfriend and her dreams of becoming a teacher. Determined to find their way back to one another, the young lovers initially correspond via letters, until the outbreak of the Second World War causes Concetta’s letters to go unanswered.
The first novel will be published in January 2025 with the second book scheduled for June 2025.
