Commissioning editor Kate Smith has acquired World All Language rights to two more books in the DS Malkie McCulloch crime series by Scottish author Doug Sinclair from Kevin Pocklington of The North Literary Agency.
The first book in the series, Blood Runs Deep, was published in February this year and subsequently shortlisted for the Bloody Scotland Debut Prize and longlisted for the McIlvanney Prize 2024.
The fourth book in the series will be published in July 2025 with the fifth book scheduled for October 2026.
Sinclair says,
