S.J. King’s career has taken her far and wide, from filming in China to digital innovation and communication for more than thirty years with brands like Virgin, IKEA and Hilton. She now works as the head of global Public Affairs for a major multinational.

Originally from London, she has lived in Hong Kong, China, India, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.

Her books are dark and domestic, unpacking family dilemmas and moral complexity with a progressive, unsettling twist. Books that will make you look over your shoulder and make you think.

She has two teens, an Irish husband, and an Indian street-cat on Prozac. In her free time she reads avidly, decorates cakes and gardens.
