Publisher Kathryn Taussig has acquired World all language rights excluding Spanish in ebook, paperback, and audio for two new thrillers from bestselling thriller writer Gregg Dunnett. The deal includes the standalone psychological thriller Deep Blue Lies and The Kill, the fourth instalment in his popular Erica Sands series.

In Deep Blue Lies, medical school dropout Erin Whitaker uncovers an old photograph of her mother, taken on a Greek island over twenty years ago. Wondering if it might lead her to the answer of who her father was, Erin decides to travel to sun-bleached Alythos, and the resort where the photo was taken. There she uncovers a horrifying truth connecting a shuttered hotel, a murdered couple, and an abandoned baby… but someone on the island will do anything to keep the past buried.

The Kill is the fourth and final book in Dunnett’s Erica Sands detective series, which began with The Cove. Deep Blue Lies will publish September 2025, followed by The Kill in 2026.

Gregg Dunnett commented,

‘I’m delighted to continue my publishing adventures with Storm. I love working with such talented and committed people, and I’m excited to create more books that (hopefully) keep readers up long past their bedtimes! The passion for great stories shines through with Storm, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.’

Kathryn Taussig said,

‘Gregg has an exceptional talent for creating atmospheric, page-turning thrillers that are genuinely unique. He’s one of the most talented writers I’ve worked with, and I always look forward to reading his next book. I think his fans and new readers alike are in for a real treat with these two new novels.’
