Storm Publishing is delighted to announce the acquisition of a new cosy mystery series by acclaimed author Jackie Baldwin. The deal, negotiated by Publisher Kathryn Taussig, includes World rights in all languages for the first two books in the series, beginning with Murder at the Wild Haggis Bookshop.
The series introduces Beth Cunningham, who fulfils her dream of owning a bookshop in the Scottish town of Oban, only to become the prime suspect when a journalist is murdered during her crime book club’s first meeting. With the police suspicious due to Beth’s secret past, she and her loyal staff must solve the case themselves before it’s too late. Murder at the Wild Haggis Bookshop will publish in autumn 2025, followed by a second book in the series in early 2026.
