We’re delighted to share that commissioning editor Kate Smith has acquired World All Language rights in e-book, paperback and audio, including film and TV, for three new historical novels by the author Lelita Baldock.
The series follows women reporters navigating institutional barriers as they fight to expose the truth about the Vietnam War, inspired by true stories from the era.
Baldock’s new novels, all set during the Vietnam War, will be released in July 2026, October 2026 and January 2027.

When I first began researching the women reporters who covered the Vietnam War, I realised there was so much scope and history to explore that it needed more than one novel to do it justice.
