Commissioning Editor Kate Smith has acquired World All Language rights, including film, TV and audio, for three new novels from the bestselling women’s fiction author Eliza J. Scott.

The deal includes the eighth book in the much-loved Micklewick Bay series, featuring newcomer Hannah Merryweather and a mysterious Scottish chef, plus two additional contemporary women’s fiction novels set in Yorkshire.

The first book will be published in September 2026, with the subsequent titles following in November 2027 and March 2028.

Eliza J. Scott has already captivated readers with her Yorkshire-set stories, including The Little Bookshop by the Sea, which reached the Amazon UK top 10 earlier this year.
