Tara Lynn Masih
Tara Lynn Masih is a multi-award-winning American author of place-based historical novels and short stories, including the acclaimed, bestselling YA novel My Real Name Is Hanna. Hanna was honored as a National Jewish Book Award Finalist and won several awards, including a Julia Ward Howe Award.
A member of the Historical Novel Society, she fell in love with history as a young child during a magical summer spent in London and while touring the countryside and high cliffs of Cornwall.
Tara also loves small things and is known for The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction and for founding The Best Small Fictions. Her latest story collection, How We Disappear, won a Florida Book Award. It features a fictional biography of Dame Agatha Christie.
As a bicultural author, she weaves into her writing the history of the voiceless and forgotten.
