We are thrilled to announce that Alexandra Holmes, currently Head of Editorial Management at Bookouture, is moving to Storm Publishing, where she will take up the newly created role of Editorial Operations Director in April.
Holmes will oversee Storm’s editorial systems, project management and audio publishing in an expansive role. She will report to Oliver Rhodes, Managing Director of Storm. Alexandra previously worked at Jessica Kingsley Publishers before moving to Bookouture.
Holmes said of the move:
“We are in an unprecedented time of technological advancement, and Storm is spearheading its application in digital publishing. I’m so thrilled to be joining a company with innovation at its heart, and I feel very fortunate to be part of such a dynamic team.”
Oliver Rhodes commented:
“Storm is focused on innovation. Alex is incredibly smart, forward-thinking and quick to implement change. As well as ensuring our organisation is second to none, she will ensure we are at the forefront of adopting new technology and applying it effectively to supercharge our productivity.
I can’t think of anyone better to lead our editorial operations. I know Alex will form a progressive team with Chris Lucraft, our Digital Operations Director, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”
After launching in October 2022, the Storm Publishing team has grown quickly. The appointment of Holmes will bring Storm’s headcount to eight, with more hires expected in the coming months.
