Publisher Kathryn Taussig has acquired World English Language rights for Debbie’s next two novels in her Starshine Cove series, Wedding Bells in Starshine Cove and a second book. The deal was negotiated with Hayley Steed at Janklow & Nesbit UK.
The sixth book in the series, Wedding Bells in Starshine Cove, is a warm, funny, best-friends-to-lovers romance set in the Dorset village of Starshine Cove. Becky Bell, a dressmaker who has always kept the world at arm’s length, turns forty just as her best friend of twenty-five years flies in from New York, and a drunken promise they made on the beach years ago starts to feel a lot less like a joke. It will be published in March 2027, with the next book following in July 2027.
