Claire Bord began her publishing career at Michael Joseph, a commercial imprint of Penguin Random House, working across a range of bestselling fiction and non-fiction before moving to HarperCollins where she headed up the editorial team at Avon. At Storm, Claire will be on the lookout for great storytelling with universal appeal, whether it’s a detective series, psychological thriller, historical novel, true crime story, or inspirational memoir. She works collaboratively with her authors to perfect their work and give them every chance of becoming a bestseller. Whether launching a debut writer or taking an author’s existing audience to new heights, Claire is always focused on giving authors the very best publishing experience and ultimately, building them successful long-term careers.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys adventures with her family including sailing, stomping through a forest, or cycling in the countryside. She also loves any excuse to throw a party for family and friends which always involves plenty of food and music.
