I’ve wanted to create stories and craft beautiful language ever since reading one of those “You can be a writer” adverts in a newspaper, but for too many years I lacked the self-belief necessary to write more than a few short stories and one novel which I finished but which will never see daylight again. In my early fifties, my life started anew, thanks to a wonderful woman who kicked my arse until I started to believe in myself, then married me. Since then, my love of writing has been rekindled, and I’m finally on the path to being what I always wanted to be; a story teller.
