Maheen is a graduate from University College London with a passion for storytelling and the magic of the written word. During university, she took on freelance content writing projects and interned at a marketing agency. After she completed her degree, she began pursuing her dream career in the publishing industry which lead her to Storm.
Maheen believes that all stories are worth sharing, and strives to support underrecognized and marginalised writers everywhere. Her favourite genres include women’s fiction, contemporary Middle Eastern fiction, and high fantasy. She is passionate about diversity in literature, and hopes to champion voices that reflect a wide range of experiences.
In her spare time, Maheen enjoys hobbies typically reserved for someone three times her age – gardening, sewing, knitting, and baking. When she’s not doing that, you’ll likely find her on a long walk or most frequently, curled up with a steaming cup of chai and a book.
