Vicky Blunden has worked in fiction publishing for fifteen years, launching the careers of bestselling authors in a range of genres – including psychological thriller, crime, suspense, historical fiction, romance, up-lit, women’s fiction and literary debuts.

She loves the thrill of discovering exceptional writing and collaborating closely with authors to support them as they develop and hone their work, shaping and strengthening their storytelling, ensuring readers will connect with characters they can believe in and become immersed in their fictional worlds. She is committed to harnessing all the tools and opportunities of contemporary publishing to reach the widest possible readership for every book, and carve out lasting, lucrative careers for her authors.

Vicky lives on the South Coast and is happiest on the beach, swimming and having picnics with family and friends in the summer, and at home, curled up by the fire with tea, toast and a good book in the winter.

“Vicky is an inspirational and talented editor, who sees instinctively how to make a story better. She is able to develop an awkward, scrappy and overcomplicated manuscript into something pure and beautiful that an author can be really proud of”
