Commissioning Editor Kate Smith has acquired World All Language rights in e-book, paperback and audio, including film and TV, for two standalone crime thrillers by the author Alex Sigmore.
The first book, The Darkest Game, is scheduled for publication in June 2025. In the novel, two detectives must work together to investigate a series of ritualistic murders in a small Illinois town, uncovering an unsettling link between the killer and their own past traumas. Sigmore’s second thriller – also set in the US – will be published in September 2025.
Alex Sigmore is the UK bestselling author of the Emily Slate and Ivy Bishop FBI mystery series.
