Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord has acquired World All Language rights for two domestic psychological thrillers by Michelle Dunne with agent Nicky Lovick at WGM Atlantic & Literary Group. Michelle’s Lindsey Ryan series is currently in development for television, and she is also the organiser and programmer of Ireland’s most unique crime writing festival, the Spike Island Literary Festival. From 2024, Michelle will be joining the programming team for Dublin’s International Crime festival, Murder One.
The first book, The Hotel Maid, opens with the murder of a woman in a hotel room just as a child is reported missing on the hotel grounds. The Hotel Maid will publish in July 2024, with the second book centred around the secrets within two families that start to surface after the death of a teenage girl, coming in January 2025.
