Storm Publishing is thrilled to announce its first venture into dark romance with Jolie Vines’ mega-bestselling series, the Body Count trilogy. The three-book deal marks a milestone for Storm as the publisher expands into the dark romance genre, with the first book in the series, Arran’s Obsession, publishing in the first half of 2026. The deal for North American print rights was brokered by Publisher Kathryn Taussig with Brent Taylor of Triada US.
The Body Count series will be available in bookshops across the United States and Canada as part of Storm’s new strategic partnership with Two Rivers, which kicks off early next year.
Vines’ Body Count series has been a phenomenon on Kindle Unlimited, accumulating over 100 million pages read and building a passionate, devoted fanbase. Arran’s Obsession follows Genevieve, who catches the attention of dangerous gang leader Arran. When she’s then drawn into “The Game” – a brutal underground competition where masked men fight for the right to claim women – she finds out how deep Arran’s twisted world really goes.
