Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord has acquired World All Language rights to three books in a new Scottish crime series from CWA New Blood Dagger Longlist and McIlvanney Best Scottish Crime Novel Finalist 2020 author Andrew James Greig.

The first in the series sees Private Investigator Teàrlach Paterson, hired to find a missing child who mysteriously disappeared from her isolated Highland home.

Bord said:

‘Andrew’s atmospheric writing has such a strong sense of place combined with an intriguing plot, compelling characters, and a real page-turning quality. I can’t wait to share this distinctive new crime series with readers.’

Andrew commented:

‘I’m delighted to have this opportunity to work with such an innovative and dynamic publisher as Storm. Claire’s feedback and genuine enthusiasm, together with Storm’s publishing experience and global reach was a major factor in my deciding to launch this new Scottish series with them. I can’t wait to introduce my new characters and their stories to the world.’

The first in the series will publish in January 2024, with books 2 and 3 in the series following in April and July.
