Storm has signed two more psychological thrillers by bestselling author Amanda McKinney. The first novel, The Stone Secret, introduces us to Sylvia Stone, the daughter of a woman who was murdered twenty years ago. Rhett Cohen, the man wrongly convicted of the murder, is released from prison just as Sylvia starts to receive letters, each one revealing details only a killer would know. Independently published by Amanda, The Stone Secret has already won Gold in the Independent Publisher Book Awards Suspense/Thriller category. Publishers Weekly described McKinney as eliciting ‘delicious tension from the uneasy alliance between Sylvia and Cohen.’
The second book tells the story of Lavinia Greer who, desperate to pick up the broken pieces of her life, finds herself on the doorstep of successful author Tristan Carrington who has hired her to care for his ailing wife. But beneath the beautiful exterior of the Carrington home lies dark secrets that are about to surface.
Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord agreed World English Language rights deal for the two books with Jill Marsal at Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.
