Storm has signed an emotional family drama by Laila Ibrahim which will publish in March 2024. Laila is the bestselling author of Yellow Crocus, Mustard Seed, Paper Wife, Golden Poppies and Scarlet Carnation. Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord acquired World English Language rights from Annelise Robey of the Jane Rotrosen Agency.

Laila says:

“I’m delighted to team up with Storm Publishing to bring my second novel (originally published as Living Right) to more readers. I hope this story grows compassion for the challenge of mothering in our complicated, ever changing, world.”

Claire commented:

“Laila is a gifted, compassionate storyteller and in this story, she takes the reader into the heart of a seemingly perfect family as they are thrown into crisis. This is a deeply thought-provoking and moving novel that explores themes of identity and acceptance, parental love, and how it’s never too late to redefine the values that are important to us.”
