Publisher Kathryn Taussig has acquired World English print rights, plus Italian and Spanish translation rights, in five books in The Blackened Blade series directly from bestselling dark fantasy romance author Isla Davon. The deal includes the three existing books in the series – The Blackened Blade, A Blackened Bond and Of Blackened Blood – and two brand-new instalments.
The Blackened Blade series is a dark paranormal why-choose romance which follows a young woman, Micai, who dies in a fire and is reborn ten years into her past. Returning to the magical academy where she once suffered, Micai is determined to rewrite her fate with newfound power and five dark, damaged love interests by her side…
Davon has built a passionate and devoted readership, with the series amassing over 40,000 glowing reviews and cementing her as one of the most exciting new voices in dark fantasy romance.
