Editorial Director Vicky Blunden has acquired World English Language rights in ebook, POD and audio, to a new historical standalone by established novelist Clare Flynn. The Star of Ceylon will publish in May 2025.
Clare Flynn is the author of seventeen books and is loved by readers for her epic, sweeping historical novels set during vividly realised turbulent times. The Star of Ceylon is a gripping forbidden love story in which a brilliant young woman forced to hide her academic ambitions finds unexpected salvation in a questioning colonial civil servant, after a brutal attack threatens to destroy her future.
