Commissioning Editor Kate Smith has acquired World All Language rights in ebook, paperback and audio, including film and TV, for a four-book series – the Midlife Magic Cocktail Club series – from Annabel Chase, author of Spellbound and The Bloomin’ Psychic series.
A delightful blend of contemporary fantasy, women’s fiction, and paranormal romance, the Midlife Magic Cocktail Club series follows four women who must navigate newfound magical abilities while dealing with relationship changes, career shifts, and the complexities of midlife. The series combines heartwarming friendship with magical realism and a touch of romance.
Magic Uncorked, the first book in the series, follows Libbie Stark, a forty-something mother whose life is upended when her elderly friend Inga dies, leaving her a mysterious magical gift.
All four books in the series – Magic Uncorked, Bewitching Bitters, Vintage Spirits, and Psychic on the Rocks – will be published by Storm Publishing in June this year.
