Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord has acquired World English Language rights to a psychological thriller by script writer and multi-million-best-selling author of the DI Ruth Hunter series Simon McCleave. Claire acquired the rights from Millie Hoskins at United Agents and the book will publish in ebook, audio and paperback in June 2025.

McCleave said:

‘I’m so excited to be working with Storm again. Their input and ideas for Last Night At Villa Lucia, were superb so I know my book is in excellent hands. I can’t wait to get started.’

Bord commented:

‘It’s been an absolute joy working with Simon on Last Night At Villa Lucia. He is always brimming with original ideas, brilliant at creating relatable and intriguing characters – the kind you become obsessed with from the moment you meet them on the page – and he knows how to deliver a killer twist. Five Days in Provence opens with five friends gathering at a picturesque farmhouse in Provence for a 50th birthday celebration. But their dream getaway is about to end in murder. It’s the perfect summer thriller and I can’t wait to publish it.’

Last Night At Villa Lucia has already hit the Amazon bestseller charts on pre-orders alone and publishes on 26th July 2024.
