Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord has acquired World English Language rights in a historical novel by debut author and Faber Academy graduate Annabelle Marx from Jenny Brown of Jenny Brown Associates.

The Lost Garden of Ardbray House, set in the remote Scottish Highlands and Glasgow in the early 19^th Century and present day, tells the story of herbalist Kitty Maclean and the mystery of the house she inhabited.

Marx says:

“I am thrilled that Storm will be publishing my debut novel and truly excited to be working with Claire and her team. Their combination of experience and start-up energy is just what I was hoping for at the beginning of my publishing journey. The story of Kitty Maclean is one that wouldn’t sit still in my head after spending long periods of time in the Highlands and was inspired by the hills, the history and the people who live there – I just had to write it. The Lost Garden of Ardbray House will be publishing in ebook, paperback and audio on 26^th October 2023.
