Kathryn Taussig has been promoted to Publisher and Director of Global Ventures at Storm Publishing.

In her new role, Taussig will be responsible for leading the growth of Storm’s international joint ventures, publishing in translation, and rights, including Storm’s recent partnership with major Italian publisher and bookshop chain Giunti. She will also continue acquiring and publishing a select list of authors.

Taussig moved to Storm in 2022, the first person to join the company after founder Oliver Rhodes. In her role of Publisher she has commissioned and published bestsellers such as Kate Hewitt’s The Last Stars in the Sky, Gregg Dunnett’s number one thriller Little Ghosts, and Sally Rigby’s Cornwall Murder Mystery series. Before Storm, she worked at Hachette divisions Bookouture and Quercus.
