Storm has signed The Jekyll Island Hunting Club by Kristen Bird. Deputy Managing Director Claire Bord agreed World All Language rights with Jill Marsal at the Marsal Literary Agency.
The Jekyll Island Hunting Club is a Southern Gothic mystery with strong book club appeal, set on Georgia’s Jekyll Island, where a secret society of women has been quietly disposing of the bad men in their lives since 1888. In the present day, when a man is found dead – his young daughter at the scene – documentary filmmaker Serena Thatcher arrives to investigate multiple disappearances and uncovers a legacy of vigilante justice spanning generations.
