We are over the moon to announce that Storm Publishing has expanded its team, recruiting Elke Desanghere as Head of Digital Marketing. Desanghere will join Storm immediately and report to Oliver Rhodes, Storm’s Managing Director.

Elke Desanghere recently finished a maternity leave cover as a Head of Digital Marketing at Little, Brown. She has extensive digital marketing experience within publishing, having previously worked at Penguin, Avon, Egmont and Nosy Crow. She also has an MBA, which included Data Analysis and Start-Up Entrepreneurship.

Desanghere said of the move:

“I couldn’t be more excited to join Storm Publishing, especially at the stage where I can help shape their digital marketing strategy from the ground up. Oliver and the rest of the team have a wealth of knowledge and a vision that’s both brilliant and cohesive. I’m looking forward to working at a truly innovative publisher, marketing thrilling commercial fiction and seeing how we grow together.”

Oliver Rhodes, Managing Director of Storm, commented:

“I’m absolutely thrilled that Elke will lead our digital marketing and I’m sure she will play a key part in building numerous digital bestsellers for our authors. As well as having excellent marketing experience, Elke is smart, forward-thinking, and commercially focused, so a great fit with our mission at Storm.”

Desanghere’s appointment brings the Storm Publishing permanent team to ten, a little more than six months after our launch.
